Dimensions (height x width x depth) : 5 x 38 x 20 cm
Weight : 1.15 kg
Origin : Amazon
History : Pieces made by artisans from the Amazon, inhabitants of a riverside community in the Anavilhanas National Park region. Everyone in the group of artisans as well as the rest of the community are indigenous people belonging to the Baré people, speakers of the Nheengatú indigenous language. They always take care to pass on the people's artistic skills to younger members, as they believe that this way they will be able to keep their culture and identity alive, expressed through art.
They use the forest's natural resources correctly, as sustainability is the group's focus to generate income and ecological visibility, always helping to balance ecosystems.
Note : Because they are produced by hand, each piece is unique, with no two being exactly the same. There may be small variations in dimensions (more or less), colors and tones between pieces and between what is perceived on cell phone or computer screens and the real pieces.
