Dimensions (height x width x depth): 4 x 7 x 28 cm

Weight: 25 g

Origin: Brazil (State of Alagoas)

History: Iron Island was once known as the "city off the map", until the crafts made by its residents caught the attention of designers and art collectors. The artisan community of Ilha do Ferro is located on the banks of the São Francisco River, on the border between the states of Sergipe and Alagoas, in the Brazilian Northeast, and is made up of men and women, fishermen and bricklayers, rural workers and housewives who, faced with the difficulties of everyday life, they found a dignified way of survival. One of these artists is "Zé Crente", who reproduces in his sculptures made from Umburana wood (from the reuse of trunks, branches and roots of dead trees), with strong and vibrant colors, the lizards that live in the region

Note: Because they are produced by hand, each piece is unique, with no two being exactly the same. There may be small variations in dimensions (more or less), colors and tones between pieces and between what is perceived on cell phone or computer screens and the real pieces.
